The Philippines government says 240 people have died in severe flooding caused by Tropical Storm Ketsana. The disaster has also left more than 450,000 people displaced.
But while flood waters recede, questions about the government’s response to the crisis have begun to surface. With homes still under water, many Filipinos remain homeless and despondent.
Flood rose as much as 10 feet in some areas in Cainta Rizal and Laguna and Markina with the ravaging floods of Typhoon Ondoy. It was by far the highest flood that ever swept homes all around Metro Manila and surrounding Provinces.

‘Cause it’s all right — I think we’re gonna make it.
I think it might just work [...]

You’re closin’ down the town
Wake up and she’s still with you
Even though you left her way across town
You’re wonderin’ to yourself
Hey what I’ve found
When you get caught between the moon and [...]
